Stamped concrete's pattern and colour both live in a thin surface layer — once the sealer wears through, that layer is exposed directly to weather and starts fading fast. Catching it early keeps a full recolour off the table.
A sodium hypochlorite wash breaks down algae, dirt, and organic growth, then the surface gets a full pressure wash.
An eco-friendly acid etch opens the surface so sealer absorbs evenly, followed by a neutralizing rinse and a full day to dry.
Surrounding areas get taped off, then a drill-mixed high-gloss sealer with a non-slip additive is applied for colour, sheen, and grip.
Walk time: 2–3 hours. Drive time: 24 hours. Final results can vary with the existing condition of the concrete, past sealers, and staining.
